Clinical Social Workers
Licensed Professional Counselor
Location: Belton, MO
Flexible Hours
Independent Contractor
You didn’t become a therapist to fight with insurance companies, survive burnout, or play clinical charades.
You became a therapist to actually help people.
That’s exactly what we do at A Balanced Mind, LLC.
What We Stand For:
• Real trauma work. Not watered-down coping skills.
• Somatic and emotional healing.
• Going beyond checklists and billing codes.

• Overload your caseload to chase profits. You choose your caseload.
• Pretend CBT is the answer to everything.
• Tell suicidal clients to “journal more.”
What You’ll Get Working Here:
• A seat at the table in a mission-focused practice.
• Full flexibility in your clinical model (EMDR, IFS, somatic, spiritual integration; bring it!).
• Support to build the groups, programs, or healing circles you’re passionate about.
• Administrative support so you can focus on clients while we handle the billing.
•Hybrid work options: in-person in Harrisonville or remote via telehealth.
• Real supervision if you want it, independence if you don’t.
Therapist Who Should Apply:
• Are licensed in Missouri (LCSW, LPC, or provisionally licensed).
• Willingness to work as an independent contractor.
